Sexuality 91传媒: Implementation policies for schools
Schools must strictly follow MOE鈥檚 guidelines when implementing Sexuality 91传媒.
Overview
All schools are to provide Sexuality 91传媒 for their students as follows:
- The MOE Sexuality 91传媒 programme, comprising the Sexuality 91传媒 lessons and Empowered Teens (eTeens) programmes, must be implemented as part of the Character and Citizenship 91传媒 curriculum.
- The Sexuality 91传媒 lessons must be adopted by all government schools. Independent and faith-based government-aided schools may adopt their own programmes as long as they are aligned to the MOE Framework for Sexuality 91传媒 and lesson objectives.
- The eTeens programme must be adopted by all secondary schools, junior colleges and Millennia Institute. Independent and faith-based government-aided schools may supplement eTeens with their own programmes.
- The Sexuality 91传媒 lessons and eTeens programmes must only be taught by specially selected and MOE-trained Sexuality 91传媒 teachers.
- If schools engage relevant expertise and community resources to supplement Sexuality 91传媒, they must strictly follow MOE’s guidelines on engaging external providers.
- If parents wish to opt their children out of Sexuality 91传媒 lessons, eTeens or supplementary Sexuality 91传媒 programmes, schools must allow them to do so.
