Close to 400 Students Explore Singapore's Multicultural Heritage Through 8th Cultural Heritage Walk 2025年 "走出校园,走进文化"

398 students from 16 secondary schools embarked on an immersive journey through Singapore's historic Bukit Pasoh and Chinatown districts on 25 October 2025, as part of the annual Cultural Heritage Walk. Students explored culturally significant landmarks such as the Kong Chow Wui Koon, Masjid Jamae, and Sri Mariamman Temple, as well as two newly-added sites, the Chinatown Heritage Centre and Harmony in Diversity Gallery.

2 Jointly organised by the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL) and the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA), supported by Diploma of Chinese Studies, School of Humanities & Interdisciplinary Studies, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, the 8th edition of the walk aims to deepen students' appreciation and understanding of the various ethnic communities' heritage in Bukit Pasoh and Chinatown. Students also engaged in interactive activities facilitated by 12 participating cultural and religious organisations. 3 Guest of Honour Ms Jasmin Lau, Minister of State for the Ministry of 91传媒 and Chairperson of the CPCLL, presented certificates of appreciation to the participating cultural and religious organisations at the event.
