Register a private school

2. How to register

You must be a company that is registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and fulfil the other requirements as stated in our website.

Please ensure all renovation and furnishing works are completed before starting your online application on .

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to using your company’s CorpPass. Find out how to register for a if you haven't got one.
  2. Select “Apply licence” under the “Licence ' menu.
  3. Choose “Ministry of 91传媒” as the government agency.
  4. Click “Apply” button to “Apply for Certificate of Registration of School”.
  5. Follow the steps on screen to complete the application.

Things to take note for registration:

  • The fee payable upfront is strictly NON- REFUNDABLE, even if the application is rejected for any reason.
  • Application should preferably be made by the proposed supervisor of the Committee of Management of the School (SMC) or the business owner.
  • Please use the Corp Pass account of the business registering the school - whether it is a sole proprietorship, partnership, or private limited company - to log in to GoBusiness and complete the application. Do not use the Corp Pass of the parent company, if applicable.
  • The proposed school name must:
    • Clearly indicate that it is a place of learning (e.g., 鈥淎BC Tuition Centre鈥�, 鈥淎BC Learning Centre鈥�, 鈥淎BC Learning Hub鈥�, or 鈥淎BC 91传媒 Centre鈥�); AND
    • Align with the business name of the private school owner as registered with ACRA. (e.g., if the proposed school name is 鈥淎BC Tuition Centre鈥�, the business name should be 鈥淎BC Tuition Centre Pte Ltd鈥� or 鈥淎BC Tuition Centre LLP鈥�)
  • A maximum of 10 courses and 10 teachers per application will be accepted. Additional courses and teachers can be registered after your school has been registered.
